Claire Davison is a dress designer with over 10yrs experience.  She trained at two of the top fashion universities in Scotland and has worked for the couture designer Lex McFadyen in Glasgow, for  the couture bridal company Peaches, whilst she has also worked commercially for companies such as Fila, Vans, Ping, George @ Asda, Tesco, and Next.   

During this time, she was also busy making couture evening wear, bridesmaids dresses, graduation dresses, mother of the bride outfits, smart suiting,  etc. tailored to clients individual needs.

Pimley Davison is a dress design business she runs, offering clients a bespoke design service.   You can have a dress / outfit made from a commercially produced pattern, or Claire will create a pattern exclusively for you.  

Claire works from your ideas, and her suggestions as to what design & fabrics will suit, however if you have an idea or a sketch she can work from this also.

Perhaps you still love a dress / suit in your wardrobe but the fabric is a little tired, or even outdated.   Pimley Davison offer to remake any old garments by taking a pattern straight from the garment – don't worry all this is done without unpicking a thing !

Claire also makes accessories for evening wear / bridal parties :   Dolly bags, Clutch bags, Shawls, Stoles, etc. and has even been known to bead and cover shoes !!!
